Billing Cycle
You can view the bill of a resource in the Billing section of Billing Center to learn about its usage and billing information in a certain period.
Bill Reporting Period
Prepaid resource packages: After a package is paid, a bill is reported to the billing system for settlement.
Pay-per-use: The usage of pay-per-use resources is reported to the billing system at a fixed interval for settlement. A pay-per-use resource is billed by hour, day, or month, depending on the resource's usage type. For details, see Bill Run for Pay-per-Use Resources.
- Basic service billing
For livestreaming acceleration, in the traffic-based billing mode, traffic used in a given hour will be billed 4 hours later.
For livestreaming acceleration, in the daily peak bandwidth billing mode, billing occurs at about 20:00 (GMT+08:00) the next day.
For livestreaming acceleration, in the 95th percentile bandwidth billing mode, billing occurs at about 20:00 (GMT+08:00) on the first day of the next month.
For Media Live transcoding, in the pay-per-use billing mode, usage is calculated hourly and applied to your bill in real time (subject to the system). If you have purchased an resource package, usage during the package validity period is deducted from the package allowance and will not incur additional costs.
- Value-added service billing
Cloud Live transcoding: calculated by hour and applied in real time (subject to the system)
Cloud Live recording: calculated by month and applied in real time (subject to the system)
Cloud Live snapshot capturing: calculated by day and applied in real time (subject to the system)
Example: If traffic-based billing is used, the expenditures generated from 08:00 to 09:00 are applied to your account at about 13:00.
