Viewing the IP Addresses and Port of a GeminiDB DynamoDB-Compatible Instance

Scenarios

Before connecting to a GeminiDB DynamoDB-Compatible instance over a private or public network, you need to obtain the connection information, such as the private IP address, port, and EIP. You can find this information on the GeminiDB console to ensure a successful connection.

This section describes how to obtain these connection details.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the Huawei Cloud console.
  2. On the Instances page, click the instance name to go to the Basic Information page.

    Method 1:

    In the Node Information area on the Basic Information page, obtain the private IP address of each node.

    View the instance port in the Network Information area. The default port is 8000.

    Method 2:

    In the navigation pane, choose Connections to obtain the private IP address and port of the instance.

  1. Log in to the GeminiDB console.
  2. On the Instances page, click the target instance name.
  3. If a public gateway address is bound, view the EIP in the Network Information area on the Basic Information page.

    If an EIP is bound directly to the instance node, choose Connections in the navigation pane of the Basic Information page to view the EIPs.
