Expected Number of Nodes in a Node Pool

It controls the initial number of nodes in a node pool. The obtained value is the expected number of nodes in the node pool. CCE continuously scales in or out nodes on the backend to keep the existing nodes equal to the desired limits.

If resources are sold out, the resource quota is insufficient, or the bidding price is too low, there may be fewer nodes than the expected number of nodes running in the cluster. After the fault is rectified, CCE will continue to scale in or out nodes until the number of nodes matches the expected number.

Value Range

From 0 to the maximum number of nodes in a cluster

(If manual scale-out is needed, the number of added nodes is restricted by specifications, capacity, and resource quotas.)

Default Value

0

Modifiable

Yes

Scope

CCE standard and CCE Turbo clusters

After scaling groups are enabled, only the number of nodes in the default scaling group can be configured. The capacity of scaling groups cannot be changed.
