Threshold for Unbinding Pre-bound Container Network Interfaces
A pre-bound container network interface is unbound when the value of the number of idle container network interfaces on a node minus the number of dynamic pre-bound container network interfaces (nic-warm-target) on the node is greater than a certain threshold. Only numbers are allowed.
- A large value will accelerate pod startup but slow down the unbinding of idle container network interfaces and decrease the IP address usage. Exercise caution when performing this operation.
- A small value will speed up the unbinding of idle container network interfaces and increase the IP address usage but will slow down pod startup, especially when a large number of pods are added concurrently.
Value Range
0 to 256
Default Value
2
Modifiable
Yes
Scope
CCE Turbo clusters
Suggestions
Configure this parameter based on the difference between the number of pods that are frequently scaled on most nodes within a few minutes and the number of pods that are instantly scaled out on most nodes within 10 seconds.
