Why a Website Can't Be Accessed Even Though Its Domain Name Can Be Resolved?
Access to a website includes two necessary phases. The website cannot be accessed if either of the phase fails. Figure 1 shows the process for accessing a website.
Two phases for accessing a website:
- Phase 1: The DNS server translates the domain name into the IP address of the web server and returns the IP address to the client.
- Phase 2: The client accesses the web server using the IP address, and the web server returns the desired content.
