Which Ports Must Be Allowed by the Data Source Security Group So That DataArts Migration Can Access the Data Source?

Symptom

To enable communications between a migration resource group and a data source, you must allow the network segment of the migration resource group to access required ports in the security group to which the data source belongs.

Solution

The ports used for different data sources vary. For details, see the official document of each data source.

The following table provides the ports of some data sources.

Table 1 Ports used for data sources

Data Source

Port

MySQL

3306

GaussDB(DWS)

8000

PostgreSQL

5432

GaussDB

Centralized: 8000 and 8001

Distributed: result of SELECT distinct node_port FROM pgxc_node plus 1

Oracle

1521

Kafka

Non-security mode: 9092/9094

Security mode: 9093/9095

MRS Hudi

The ports used for MRS Hudi are complex. For details, see Common Ports for MRS Cluster Services.
