Troubleshooting an Agent Installation Failure
If the agent fails to be installed, you can refer to this section to locate the fault.
| Scenario | Possible Causes | Solution |

| Manually installing Agents on a single host/remotely installing agents in batches | The Agent has been installed on the current host. Before the Agent is reinstalled, the uninstalled Agent has residual files. | Check whether all files in the Agent installation directory are deleted. If there are residual files, manually delete them from the following directories: Windows:

| The WMI service is disabled. | To enable the WMI service, perform the following:

| The current host is a private image. | Private images do not support Agent installation. | |
