Configuring CDN and CES Monitoring Alarms

The purpose of configuring CDN and CES monitoring alarms is to detect traffic surges, abnormal requests, or fraud behavior in real time. You are advised to configure the following alarm indicators: bandwidth, traffic, and total number of requests.

Alarm indicator configuration:

  • Peak bandwidth: Set a threshold. If the threshold is exceeded, an alarm is triggered.
  • Traffic consumption: Monitor traffic exceptions by day or hour.
  • Total number of requests: High-frequency requests may be a feature of CC attacks.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the management console.
  2. Click in the upper left corner of the page and choose Content Delivery & Edge > CDN and Security.
  3. In the navigation pane on the left, choose Analysis > Service Monitoring > Dashboard > Cloud Eye Monitoring.
  4. Click Add Domains, select the domain names to be added, and add them to the Selected area.
