Creating a Schema and Associating It with the Prepared RDS for MySQL Instance
Procedure
- Locate the prepared DDM instance, click its name, and choose Schemas on the displayed page.
- In the upper left corner, click Create Schema.

- Select Sharded for Sharding, specify Shards based on service requirements, select the RDS for MySQL instance created in Preparing an RDS for MySQL Instance for Data Nodes, and click Next.

- Enter the password of the selected RDS for MySQL instance and click Test Availability. After the test succeeds, click Finish.

- View the created schema in the schema list.
