Installing an Application

Scenarios

  • Cloud gaming: You access a game after accessing a cloud phone.
  • Personal cloud phones: After accessing a cloud phone, you can view the cloud phone screen and install existing applications in the shared space as required.

Procedure

Run the appctrl commands on the cloud phone. For details, see appctrl Commands.

  1. Run the appctrl install command to install an application.

    Command: appctrl install {package name}

    Example command: appctrl install com.huawei.xxxx

  2. Run the appctrl start command to install and start the application.

    Command: appctrl start {package name}

    Example command: appctrl start com.huawei.xxxx

If an application in the shared space has multiple versions, appctrl install and appctrl start automatically select the latest version of the application for installation.
