Creating Predefined Tags

Predefined tags are not directly associated with cloud resources when created. When you need to associate a tag with a resource, you can directly select a predefined tag. You can specify only the tag key and set the tag value later.

You can create tags in advance, and then attach them to your resources.

1. Log in to the TMS management console.
2. Click Predefined Tags.
3. In the upper right corner of the displayed page, click Create Tag.

   The Create Tag dialog box is displayed.

4. Configure Key and Value.
5. Click OK.

   The predefined tag is created and displayed at the top of the list.

Follow-up Procedure

When tagging resources, you can directly select a predefined tag without the need to enter a key and value pair.

For example, you can select the tag key Usage from the left box and then its value from the right as shown in Figure 1.
