Starting or Stopping a Lite Server
Description
You can power off a running Lite Server if it is no longer needed, avoiding resource consumption. To use a stopped Lite Server, power it on.
Constraints
- To power on a Lite Server, the Lite Server status must be Stopped or Start Failed.
- Only Lite Servers in the Running or Stop Failed state can be powered off.
- Common nodes and child nodes of supernodes can be batch powered on or off. However, batch operations are not supported for supernodes.
Powering On or Off a Lite Server
- Log in to the ModelArts console. In the navigation pane, choose Resource Management > Lite Servers.
- New console: In the navigation pane, choose Resource Management > Lite Compute Resources > Lite Servers.
- Old console: In the navigation pane, choose Resource Management > Lite Servers.
- Power on or off one or multiple Lite Server common nodes at once.
- To power on a Lite Server, locate it in the list and click Power On in the Operation column. The Lite Server must be in the Stopped, Stop Failed, or Start Failed.
- To power off a Lite Server, locate it in the list and click Shut Down in the Operation column. In the displayed dialog box, confirm the information, enter Yes, and click OK. Only Lite Servers in the Running or Stop Failed state can be powered off. Figure 1 Shutdown
Forcibly shutting down a server will interrupt your services. Ensure that the files on the server have been saved.
In the common node list, select multiple nodes to power on or off them in batches.
In the supernode list, select multiple child nodes to batch power on or off them.
