Resource Configuration Workflow

After enabling Lite Server resources, you need to complete the configurations by referring to the following flowchart.

Configuring the Lite Server Network

After the Lite Server resource is activated, network configuration is required to enable communication with the internet. Since the Lite Server must be able to access the network during subsequent storage and software environment setup, network configuration should be completed first.

Configuring the Lite Server Storage

Data disks need to be mounted to the Lite Server to store data files. Currently, SFS, OBS, and EVS are supported.

(Optional) Configuring the Software Environment for the Lite Servers

The pre-installed software varies among images. For details about installed software, see Mappings Between Lite Compute Nodes and OS Images. If the software pre-installed in the Lite Server cannot meet service requirements, you can configure the required software environment on the Lite Server.
