Creating an Alarm Rule

You can create an alarm rule to customize monitored objects and notification policies, so that you can be well-informed of the statuses of transcoding tasks in a timely manner.

Procedure

  1. Log in to Huawei Cloud console. Choose Service List > Management & Governance > Cloud Eye.
  2. Click in the upper left corner of the console and select AP-Singapore or CN North-Beijing4.
  3. In the navigation pane, choose Alarm Management > Alarm Rules.
  4. In the upper right corner of the page, click Create Alarm Rule.
  5. Set parameters as prompted.

    For more information, see Creating an Alarm Rule. The key parameters are as follows:

    • Name: The system generates a random name, and you can change it if needed.
    • Alarm Type: Select Metric.
    • Cloud Product: MPC - Transcoding tasks
    • Resource Level: Select Specific dimension.
    • Monitoring Scope: Select All resources, Resource groups, or Specific resources.

  6. Click Create.

    After the alarm rule is created, the system automatically notifies you when an alarm is triggered.
