Accessing LTS

Before accessing LTS, switch to the region where your hosts are deployed.

Regions are based on geographical locations and network latency. Services, such as Elastic Cloud Server (ECS), Elastic Volume Service (EVS), Object Storage Service (OBS), Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), Elastic IP (EIP), and Image Management Service (IMS), can be shared within a given region.

  1. Log in to Huawei Cloud and click Console in the upper right corner.

Using LTS

LTS collects logs from hosts and cloud services, and processes the logs in a real-time, efficient, and secure way. It provides useful insights for you to optimize the availability and performance of cloud services and applications.

The process of using LTS is described below.

  1. Creating a Log Group

The first step to use LTS is to create a log group.

  2. Creating a Log Stream

A log stream is the basic unit for log reads and writes. You can create multiple log streams in a log group, and separate logs into log streams based on log types for easy management.

  3. Collecting Logs from ECS

Configure a host path for a log stream to collect logs from the host.

  4. Viewing Real-Time Logs

After configuring the path, you can view logs as they are coming in on the Real-Time Logs tab.
