Enabling Bypass

If there is a component error in API data security protection, you can enable the one-click bypass function to troubleshoot system issues without affecting service operations. Once in bypass mode, only the basic proxy and traffic control functions of API data security protection will be retained.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the web console of the API data security protection system as user sysadmin.
  2. In the navigation pane on the left, choose System Management > Network Management.
  3. In Emergency Escape, enable Soft Bypass as needed.

    Bypass state: Once enabled, the system automatically enters the bypass mode, retaining the proxy access function while all policies will be invalidated until manually disabled.

Related Operations

If the system enters the bypass mode, you can remotely connect to the server, go to the /usr/setup/appgateway/merry/core_files directory, and view the core_dump file to troubleshoot system issues.
