Viewing the Masking Result

Scenario

After the masking rule is configured, you can access the application through a proxy and view the masking result.

This section describes how to view and verify the effect of the configured masking rule.

Procedure

  1. Enter the proxy access address (domain name/IP address configured in Application Services, for example, example.com) in the address box of the browser and press Enter.
  2. View the masking effect on the web page.

    As shown in Viewing the masking effect, the credit card number and order number are masked based on the masking rule.
