Event Monitoring

Function

Event monitoring provides data collection, query, and alarm reporting for events. You can create alarm rules for both system events and custom events. When there are specified events, you will receive alarm notifications.

Check whether traffic can be sent or received by the optical port on the on-premises network device connected to the connection and whether the connection is faulty.

Check whether the resource is deleted by mistake.

You cannot access Huawei Cloud through the virtual interface.

Critical

The BGP status of the virtual interface changes from ACTIVE to DOWN.

Ping the IP address of the local gateway (Huawei Cloud) from the remote gateway (on-premises network). If the ping operation fails, check the network connectivity. If the ping operation succeeds but the BGP status is abnormal, check the BGP interconnection configuration.
  • Active-active connections can cause packet loss.
  • A single connection can cause network disconnection.
