Creating a Containers Role

Scenario

Create and configure a Containers role on FusionInsight Manager. You can allocate a Containers role the permission to use the services provided by a BLU.

Prerequisites

• The cluster administrator has understood service requirements.
• You have logged in to the FusionInsight Manager.

Procedure

1. Choose System > Permission > Role.
2. Click Create Role.
3. Enter the role name and description in the Role Name and Description text boxes.
4. On the Configure Resource Permission page, choose Name of the desired cluster > Containers.
5. Configure Configure Resource Permission by referring to Table 1.

   Service List View: lists the services provided by the BLU in the cluster.

   Scenario	Role Authorization
   Set a user's permission to access the service.	In the Permissions table, choose Containers > Service List View. In the Permission column of a specified container, select the required permissions.

6. (Optional) Enter the role description in the Description text box.
7. Click OK.
