How Does APIC Throttle Requests?

You can configure request throttling policies to control the number of APIs that can be accessed in a specified period to protect backend services. For details, see Creating a Request Throttling Policy.

By default, a single API can be accessed for a maximum of 6000 times per second. If you do not create a request throttling policy, APIC executes the default request throttling policy. On the Instance Information page of the ROMA Connect console, you can modify the ratelimit_api_limits parameter on the Configuration Parameters tab page to set the default request throttling policy for APIs.
