Common Practices

After installing an ICAgent and configuring service discovery rules, implement common practices when necessary.

Practice	Description
Threshold Alarms (New)	Alarm is a basic function of AOM and plays an important role in routine O&M. AOM can interconnect with dozens of VM and component metrics, and notify customers of system problems by SMS or email.
Discovering Applications	AOM can discover applications and collect their metrics based on configured rules. You can check the discovered applications on the Application Monitoring page and their metrics on the O&M page.
