Impact on the System

Possible Causes
The number of multicast and broadcast packets reported by the AP exceeded the alarm threshold.
Procedure
- Check the networking, find senders of the multicast and broadcast packets, and optimize the networking. Check whether the alarm persists.
- If so, go to Step 2.
- If not, go to Step 4.
- Run the traffic-optimize broadcast-suppression enable command in the AP system profile view to enable the rate limit for broadcast packets and IGMP multicast packets on the AP. Check whether the alarm persists.
- If so, go to Step 3.
- If not, go to Step 4.
- Collect alarm, log, and configuration information, and contact technical support personnel.
- End.
