What Are DSS Disks?
DSS disks are essentially dedicated EVS disks, which can be used as scalable block storage for servers. With high reliability, high performance, and rich specifications, DSS disks can be used for distributed file systems, development and testing environments, data warehouse applications, and HPC scenarios to meet diverse service requirements. Servers that DSS support include Elastic Cloud Servers (ECSs) and Bare Metal Servers (BMSs).
DSS disks are sometimes just referred to as disks in this document.
