Service Labels

Labels are key-value pairs that are attached to Services. Labels are intended to be used to specify identifying attributes of meaningful and relevant objects.

Labels can be used to identify, organize, and select Service resources. They are meaningless to system operations and are not used to store structured or complex data. Instead, labels are used to create forward and inverted indexes for query and monitoring.
