Expected Number of Nodes in a Node Pool During Auto Scaling

It limits how many nodes can be added to or removed from a node pool. Auto scaling will not be triggered if the expected number of nodes in the node pool is too high or too low.

In auto scaling scenarios, autoscaler parses and selects the auto scaling policies for the clients.

The configuration is used to restrict the node pool auto scaling from going too far.

Value Range

Greater than or equal to 0

Default Value

From 0 to 10 (configured on the console)

Modifiable

Yes

Scope

CCE standard and CCE Turbo clusters

Suggestions

Before manually configuring a node pool, adjust the maximum and minimum number of nodes in the node pool.

If the expected number of nodes in the node pool are not within limits, some existing autoscaler add-ons of earlier versions will malfunction. This issue has no impact on the autoscaler of the latest version.
