Registering a Source Server with SMS

Function

This API is automatically called by the Agent to report the basic information about a source server to SMS. After the source server is registered successfully, you can view the source server information on the SMS console.

Authorization

Each account has all of the permissions required to call all APIs, but IAM users must have the required permissions specifically assigned.

  • If you are using role/policy-based authorization, see the required permissions in Permissions Policies and Supported Actions.
  • If you are using identity policy-based authorization, the permission listed below is required.
