What Can I Do If the File Upload Fails on the Console Due to Automatic Logout?

The Huawei Cloud console enforces an inactivity-based session timeout. When you upload a large number of audio or video files, the process may take longer than the allowed session duration. If no interaction occurs during the upload, the session can expire, causing the upload to fail.

By default, the session timeout is set to 1 hour and cannot be disabled. The administrator can adjust the duration, from 15 minutes to 24 hours. This setting applies to the account and all IAM users under that account. If you are an administrator, perform the following steps to adjust the session timeout and upload the audio and video files again:
  1. Log in to the VOD console.
  2. Hover over the username in the upper right corner, and choose Security Settings from the drop-down list.
  3. On the Account Security Settings page, select the Login Authentication Policy tab.
  4. Set the session timeout.

For your account security, set the session timeout based on your needs.
