Enabling Content Moderation Authorization

The Content Moderation service of Huawei Cloud has been upgraded. From September 15, 2025, the audio and video moderation capabilities of VOD are updated accordingly. You need to enable the Content Moderation authorization before you can use the audio and video moderation capabilities of VOD.

Constraints

IAM users can enable Content Moderation authorization only when they have the permissions below.

Enabling Content Moderation Authorization

  1. Log in to the VOD console.
  2. In the navigation pane, choose Review Management > Content Moderation.
  3. In the upper right corner of the page, click Enable Agency Authorization, as shown in Figure 1.

  4. Click OK.

    The system will create an agency named vod_admin_trust_{domain-ID} on the Agencies page of the IAM console. This assigns VOD the required permissions to access the Content Moderation service and use its functions.

    Do not delete the agency relationship between VOD and Content Moderation. Otherwise, the audio and video moderation function of VOD will be unavailable.
