Viewing Monitored Metrics

Scenarios

You can view SecMaster metrics on the management console to learn about the SecMaster security status in a timely manner and set protection policies based on the metrics.

Prerequisites

SecMaster alarm rules have been configured in Cloud Eye. For more details, see Configuring Alarm Monitoring Rules.

Viewing Monitored Metrics

1. Log in to the SecMaster console.
2. Click in the upper left corner of the management console and select a region or project.
3. Click in the upper left corner of the page and choose Management & Governance > Cloud Eye.
4. In the navigation pane, choose Cloud Service Monitoring.
5. Click the name of the cloud service SecMaster you want to view in the Dashboard column.
   

   Services that have not reported data to Cloud Eye for more than three hours are hidden from the service list.

6. On the cloud service monitoring details page, view service details on the Overview and Resources pages.
7. On the Resources tab page, locate the row containing the target instance and click View Metric in the Operation column to view the metric details of the instance.

Viewing Events

1. Log in to the SecMaster console.
2. Click in the upper left corner of the management console and select a region or project.
3. Click in the upper left corner of the page and choose Management & Governance > Cloud Eye.
4. In the navigation pane, choose Event Monitoring.
5. On the displayed page, view all system events and custom events over the last 24 hours. On the overview page, select Event Source from the drop-down list of the search box, and enter SecMaster to view the SecMaster events.

   You can view events in the last 1 hour, last 3 hours, last 12 hours, last 24 hours, last 7 days, or last 30 days. Alternatively, you can set a custom time range to view events triggered within that period.
