How Do I Change the CPU Threshold?

After the SAP application AS is installed, the default CPU usage threshold is 85%. When the CPU usage exceeds 85%, instances are automatically extended. You can change the CPU threshold based on actual requirements to ensure the stable running of the system.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the management console.
  2. On the public cloud management console, click Service List and choose Management & Deploy > Cloud Eye.
  3. In the navigation pane on the left, choose Alarm Management > Alarm Rules.
  4. Locate the row that contains the alarm rule S4_scaling_alarm in the Operation column and click More and then Modify.
  5. In the displayed dialog box, change the threshold.
  6. Click OK. The threshold is changed.
