Application Scenarios

To perform a real-time migration, DRS needs to be connected to both the source and destination DBs. The source DB, destination DB, and migration objects must be configured, and then DRS can perform the migration automatically. By comparing multiple items and data between source and destination, you can determine the best time for migration to minimize downtime. For details, see Migration Overview.

Use secure networks, such as VPN, instead of EIP networks to transmit data. Reduce the attack surface and improve the security of the data synchronization network by configuring firewalls, security groups, and ACL rules. For details, see Security Best Practices.

Solution

When creating a migration task, do not set the Network Type to Public network.

Rule Logic

  • If the network type of a real-time migration task is public network, this task is non-compliant.
  • If the network type of a real-time migration task is not public network, this task is compliant.
