Application Scenarios
Without the use of Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), data transmitted between a GaussDB(DWS) instance and server is vulnerable to eavesdropping, tampering, and man-in-the-middle attacks. To improve data transmission security, enable SSL to encrypt communication.
