Application Scenarios

Enterprise Project Management Service (EPS) helps you group related cloud resources (for example, resources used for the same purpose) and manage them by enterprise project. Moving resources from one enterprise project to another does not affect the resources. Specifically, the resources will not be restarted, the network configurations will not be changed, and the resource owners will not be changed. For details, see Resource Management Overview.

If you set the rule parameter to 0, resources must not belong to the default enterprise project.

Solution

Move resources to the desired enterprise project. For details, see Adding Resources to an Enterprise Project.

If you currently do not need to use the EPS on a large scale, you are advised to use Organizations to build multi-level resource structures that meet your management and working requirements. For details, see What Is Organizations?

Rule Logic

  • If a resource does not belong to the specified enterprise project, the resource is compliant.
  • If a resource belongs to the specified enterprise project, the resource is non-compliant.
