Modification protection and deletion protection for load balancers prevent them from being modified or deleted by accident.

Solution

Enable deletion protection as instructed in Configuring Modification Protection and Deletion Protection for Dedicated Load Balancers.

Rule Logic

  • If deletion protection is not enabled for a load balancer, the load balancer is non-compliant.
  • If deletion protection is enabled for a load balancer, the load balancer is compliant.
