Managing Quotas

Updated at: May 26, 2020 GMT+08:00

Scenarios

Quotas are enforced for service resources on the platform to prevent unforeseen spikes in resource usage. For example, the maximum number of RDS DB instances that can be created varies depending on the DB instance type. You can apply for increasing quotas if necessary.

This section describes how to view the usage of each type of RDS resource and the total quotas in a specified region.

Viewing Quotas

  1. Log in to the management console.
  2. Click in the upper left corner and select a region and a project.
  3. Click Service List. Under Database, click RDS. The RDS console is displayed.
  4. In the upper right corner of the RDS console, choose Resources > My Quota.
