Managing a Read Replica

Using the RDS Console

  1. Log in to the management console.
  2. Click in the upper left corner and select a region and project.
  3. Click in the upper left corner of the page and choose Databases > Relational Database Service.
  4. On the Instances page, click in front of the DB instance and click the target read replica to go to the Summary page.

Using the DAS

  1. Log in to the management console.
  2. Click in the upper left corner and select a region and project.
  3. Click in the upper left corner of the page and choose Databases > Relational Database Service.
  4. On the Instances page, locate the target DB instance and click in front of it. In the expanded panel, locate the read replica you want to manage and click Log In in the Operation column.
  5. On the displayed page, enter the username and password and click Log In.

Deleting a Read Replica

  1. Log in to the management console.
  2. Click in the upper left corner and select a region and project.
  3. Click in the upper left corner of the page and choose Databases > Relational Database Service.
  4. On the Instances page, click in front of a DB instance, locate the read replica to be deleted, and choose More > Delete in the Operation column.
