Tracking and Closing Review Comments

Prerequisites

• A project has been created.
• A BR or GR has been created.
• Review comments have been generated in the BR or GR.

Converting Review Comments into Work Items

The following procedure uses a BR as an example. The procedure for a GR is similar.

1. On the project homepage, choose Review > Baseline Review.
2. Click the title of a BR whose status is Pending review, Waiting for Decision-making, Approved, or Rejected. The BR details page is displayed on the right.
3. Convert review comments or decision-making comments on the details page to work items.
   • For the BR whose status is Pending review, perform the following operations:
     1. In the Expert Comments area of the details page, select the comment to be converted to a work item.
     2. Click in the Operation column. The dialog box for creating work items is displayed.
   • For the BR whose status is To Be Approved, perform the following operations:
     1. In the Review Result area of the details page, select the comment to be converted to a work item.

        One or more comments can be selected.

     2. Click in the Operation column. The dialog box for creating work items is displayed.
   • For the BR whose status is Passed or Rejected, perform the following operations:
     1. In the review result or BR decision-making result area of the details page, select the expert or decision-making comment to be converted to a work item.

        One or more comments can be selected.

     2. Click in the Operation column. The dialog box for creating work items is displayed.

4. Set work item information, including the work item type and description.

   The work item type can be IR, Task, or Bug. The work item title and description are automatically populated with review comments and can be modified.

   Specify work item fields as required.

5. Click OK.

   On the Related Items tab of the current BR details page, all work items converted from review comments or decision-making comments are displayed in the Tracking of remaining items from review orders area.

   On the Related Items tab of the work item converted from review comments or decision-making comments, the review comments or decision-making comments associated with the work item are displayed in the Associated open issue review form area.
