Measuring a Bug

Dimension

By default, the bug measurement view displays the following statistical reports: bug overview, legacy DI trend, accumulated bugs, bug daily throughput, bug by severity, bug by status, and top 8 owners with legacy bugs.

  • Numerical statistics reports: The indicator value is the real time data of all work items. For example, the total number of bugs in Bug Overview is equal to the total number of bugs during statistics collection.
  • Trend charts: The indicator value is the daily data. For example, the total number of legacy bugs on June 7 in legacy DI Trend is equal to the total number of legacy bugs on June 7.
