Deleting Tasks

You can delete invalid and closed tasks to release the project space.

Prerequisites

  • A project has been created.
  • A task has been created.

Procedure

  1. In the task list, select the task to be deleted.

    • To delete a single task, click in the row where the task to be deleted is located and select Delete. The Warning dialog box is displayed.
    • To delete one or more tasks, select the tasks to be deleted and select Delete. The Warning dialog box is displayed.

  2. Click Delete. A message is displayed, indicating that the deletion is successful.

More Operations

Deleted tasks can be restored from Recycle Bin.

  1. On the homepage of the task, click Recycle Bin in the upper right corner, and the Recycle Bin window is displayed.
  2. Click in the row where the task to be restored is located. The restoration confirmation prompt will display.
  3. Click OK to restore the task.

    The restored task is displayed in the task list, staying in the status before deletion.
