Migrating R&D Requirements

You can migrate R&D requirements to another project. After the migration, the requirements do not need to be processed in the current project.

Requirements that have been baselined, are being reviewed, are being changed, or have been completed cannot be migrated.

Prerequisites

  • A project has been created.
  • An R&D requirement has been created.
  • Other projects exist in the system.

Procedure

  1. In the R&D requirement list, select one or more R&D requirements to be migrated and click Migrate in the lower part of the page.
  2. In the displayed dialog box, select the project to be migrated.
  3. Click Next. The migration confirmation dialog box is displayed.
  4. Set Owner.
  5. Click OK. The migration is successful.

    The migrated requirements are not in the R&D requirements list. The state of the requirements migrated to another project is Initial.
