Managing Assets

You can manage assets on the MetaStudio console, including querying, renaming, activating, deactivating, editing, deleting, and restoring assets, and viewing asset details.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the MetaStudio console and go to the Overview page.
  2. Click Go to MetaStudio Console to go to the MetaStudio console.
  3. In the navigation pane, choose Assets > Materials, as shown in Figure 1.

    Operation

    Description

    Querying

    Enter an asset name or asset ID in the search box in the upper right corner of the page to query asset information.

    Deactivating

    Click Deactivate in the asset card to set the asset status to Unactivated. Unactivated assets are unavailable on the console.

    Viewing details

    Click in the asset card and select View Details from the drop-down list box to view asset information on the asset details page.

    Figure 2 shows an example of image asset details.

    Renaming

    Click in the asset card and select Rename from the drop-down list box to rename the asset.

    Editing

    Only unactivated assets can be edited. Click Edit in the asset card area to modify the asset information on the asset upload page displayed.

    Deleting

    Only unactivated assets can be deleted. If an asset has been activated, click Deactivate on the asset card. After the asset is deactivated, click on the card in the Deactivated tab, and select Delete from the drop-down list box to delete the asset.

    Restoring

    Choose Assets > Recycle Bin to restore the deleted asset.

    Assets in the recycle bin will be permanently deleted after seven days.
