Purchasing Container WTP

Scenario

If you need to protect website applications on containers, you can purchase container WTP.

Notes and Constraints

Before purchasing this service, ensure you have enabled or will enable the HSS container edition for your container nodes. The container WTP depends on the container edition and cannot work independently.

Purchasing Container WTP

1. Log in to the HSS console.
2. Click in the upper left corner and select a region or project.

3. In the upper right corner of the Overview page, click Buy HSS.
4. Find and select Container Web Tamper Protection. For details, see Table 1.

   For parameters not described in Table 1, keep defaults for them.

   Parameter	Configuration Description
   Region	Select the region of the container node you want to protect. After the purchase is successful, the region cannot be changed. Exercise caution when selecting a region.
   Billing Mode	Select Yearly/Monthly. Container WTP only supports yearly/monthly billing. You need to pay before using the service. It is billed by the purchased duration specified in the order.
   Edition	Select Value-added Services Only. Select Container Web Tamper Protection.
   Quantity	Container WTP protects the images associated with website applications. If you enable the HSS container edition for a container node, all the containers associated with the image on the node will be protected. An image in a cluster or on an independent node requires a container WTP quota. Set this parameter based on the number of images to be protected. For example, to protect the same image in two clusters, purchase two quotas. To protect two images in the same cluster, purchase two quotas.
   Required Duration	Set this parameter based on the website protection duration you desire. You are advised to select Auto-renew to ensure your servers are always protected. If Auto-renew is selected, the container WTP service will be automatically renewed when it expires, as long as your account balance is sufficient. The renewal period is the same as the duration selected during purchase. If you do not select Auto-renew, manually renew the service before it expires.

5. In the lower right corner of the page, click Next.

6. After confirming that the order, read the Host Security Service Disclaimer and select I have read and agree to the Host Security Service Disclaimer.
7. Click Pay and complete the payment.

   Return to the HSS console and choose Prevention > Web Tamper Protection. Click Container WTP and click the Protection Quotas tab to check purchased quotas.
