Creating an Alarm Rule

  1. Log in to the management console.
  2. In the upper left corner of the page, click and select the desired region and project.
  3. Click in the upper left corner and choose Management & Governance > Cloud Eye.
  4. In the navigation pane on the left, choose Alarm Management > Alarm Rules.
  5. On the displayed Alarm Rules page, click Create Alarm Rule.
    Configure parameters based on Table 1.

    Parameter

    Setting

    Resource Type

    Select Elastic Load Balance.

    Dimension

    Select from the following options:

    • Elastic Load Balancers
    • Elastic Load Balancers - Backend Server Group
    NOTE:

    For a shared load balancer, Elastic Load Balancers - Listeners cannot be selected as a dimension.

    Other Parameters

    Set them as required.
    Once the alarm rule is created and the notification function has been enabled, the system automatically sends you a notification when an alarm is generated.
