Managing Launch Templates

After a launch template is created, you can view its details. If you no longer need a launch template, you can delete it. Deleting a launch template does not affect the ECSs created using the template.

This section describes how to view launch template details and delete launch templates on the management console. For details, see Viewing Details About a Launch Template and Deleting a Launch Template.

Viewing Details About a Launch Template

1. Go to the launch template list page.
2. In the search box above the launch template list, select filters to quickly search for the target template.
3. In the launch template list, click the name of the target template to view its details.

   Parameter	Description
   Name	The name of the launch template.
   ID	The ID of the launch template.
   Created	The time when the launch template is created.
   Description	The description of the launch template.
   Version Information	Contains the basic information and configuration information of the current template version. The template configuration information includes the region, specifications, image, and other basic configuration information required for creating ECSs.

Deleting a Launch Template

1. Go to the launch template list page.
2. In the launch template list, locate the launch template you want to delete and click Delete in the Operation column.
3. Confirm the information and click OK.
