Deleting a DDM Instance

You can delete DDM instances that are no longer needed.

Precautions

Deleted DDM instances cannot be recovered. Exercise caution when performing this operation.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the DDM console.
  2. In the instance list, locate the DDM instance that you want to delete and choose More > Delete in the Operation column.

    • To delete data stored on data nodes, select Delete data on data nodes.
    • If there are RDS for MySQL or GaussDB(for MySQL) instances associated with the DDM instance, the system notifies you of instance information (including instance name, instance status, and database type) when you delete the DDM instance.
    • A monthly/yearly instance cannot be directly deleted. If you no longer need the instance, switch to Billing Center > Orders Unsubscriptions and Returns/Exchanges > Cloud Service Unsubscriptions and unsubscribe the instance.

  3. Click Yes.
