This section describes how to create roles with the same permissions to implement hierarchical database management and improve database management quality.
You have logged in to the DAS console.
- On the top menu bar, choose More > Role Management. The page for managing roles is displayed.
- On the role list page, click Create Role at the upper left corner. On the displayed page, enter the role name and required information.
System permissions: Include 55 types of permissions, such as CREATE USER, CREATE SESSION, CREATE ROLE, and CREATE TABLESPACE.
Object permissions: setting username, object type, object name, and permission information For example, you can assign the select, update, delete, and index operation permissions on the DAS_CON table to the DAS user.
Subrole: You can select a created role and assign it to the current role.
- Click Submit. On the displayed dialog box, click OK.
