Uninstalling the Agent

Scenarios

This section describes how to uninstall the Agent if application-consistent backup is no longer needed.

Prerequisites

The username and password for logging in to an ECS have been obtained.

Uninstall the Agent for Linux

  1. Log in to the ECS and run the su -root command to switch to user root.
  2. In the home/rdadmin/Agent/bin directory, run the following command to uninstall the Agent. Figure 1 displays an example. If the word successfully in green is displayed, the Agent is uninstalled successfully.

Uninstall the Agent for Windows

  1. Log in to the ECS.
  2. In the Installation path/bin directory, double-click agent_uninstall_ebk.bat. The window for uninstalling the Agent is displayed.

    After the uninstallation is complete and successful, the window will be automatically closed. See Figure 2.
