Configuring a Repository Group's Permissions

Constraints

The repository group permission matrix can be modified only by the project administrator and the owners of repository groups at each layer.

Steps

  1. Log in to the target repository group's page. In the navigation pane on the left, choose Settings > Security Management > Permissions.
  2. Enable Use Project Permissions to use the project-level permission configuration, which cannot be changed.

    Click to sync project permissions. After the synchronization, you can modify the permissions.

    You can also configure the permissions according to the following table. You can configure the same permissions to multiple roles of repository group members by referring to Helpful Links. If permission inheritance is enabled, permissions of repository group members cannot be configured in batches.

Helpful Links

  1. Go to the page for configuring the permissions of the Test_Group repository group.
  2. Select the check boxes on the left of Committer and Developer, and click .
  3. Select the check box on the left of Create, enable Create, and click OK, as shown in the following figure. Members who have the roles of Committer and Developer can then create repository groups.
