Failed Configurations

If no data is displayed in Failed Configurations page, there are no failed access control policies in the current firewall instance. No actions are required.

If there is data displayed in the list, you need to check the failed policy configurations in the current firewall instance, including adding, modifying, and deleting protection rules, address groups, service groups, domain name groups, blacklists/whitelists, and schedules.

Checking Failed Configurations

  1. Based on the task data in the list, perform the following operations:
    • If an adding operation (for example, adding a protection rule) is failed, you are advised to add or copy the rule and then modify it. Do not directly edit the original rule.
    • If an editing or deletion operation failed, you can create a service ticket.
  2. After a failed configuration (for example, a failed protection rule) is handled, you can delete the corresponding failed configuration task. For details, see Deleting Failed Configuration Tasks.

Constraints

  • A maximum of 50 failed configuration tasks can be displayed.
  • A failed policy configuration task can be viewed only in the firewall instance that the policy belongs to.
  • The failure status of import operations is displayed in the Status column of the Download Center page instead of the Failed Configurations page.

Deleting Failed Configuration Tasks

  1. Log in to the management console.
  2. Click in the upper left corner of the management console and select a region or project.
  3. In the navigation pane on the left, click and choose Security & Compliance > Cloud Firewall. The Dashboard page will be displayed.
  4. (Optional) Switch firewall instance: Select a firewall from the drop-down list in the upper left corner of the page.
  5. In the navigation tree on the left, choose System Management > Failed Configurations. The Failed Configurations page is displayed.
  6. Delete failed configuration tasks.

    • Delete a single task: In the row of the target task, click Delete in the Operation column.
    • Delete multiple tasks: Select the target tasks and click Delete above the list.
    • In this case, only the failure notifications on the Failed Configurations page are deleted. If you need to delete the policies, go to the corresponding page and perform the deletion operation.
    • If an adding operation (for example, adding a protection rule) is failed, you are advised to add or copy the rule and then modify it. Do not directly edit the original rule.
    • If an editing or deletion operation failed, you can create a service ticket.
