Upgrading the Agent on a Windows Server

Scenarios

This topic describes how you can upgrade the Agent of the early architecture to that of the new architecture.

Constraints

You cannot upgrade the Agent in the following regions: CN South-Guangzhou-InvitationOnly, LA-Sao Paulo1, and LA-Mexico City1.

Procedure

Log in to the Windows ECS as an administrator.
Determine the current Agent version based on the Agent installation path in Managing the Agent (Windows).
Uninstall the Agent of the current version by running the command in Uninstalling the Agent.
Install the Agent of the latest version by running the command in Procedure.
